Liz Taylor Dead

The British born actress and hollywood megastar Elizabeth Taylor died yesterday in Los Angeles at the age of 79.
In a statement to the press her son Michael Wilding said “She was an extraordinary woman who lived life to the fullest. We know, quite simply, that the world is a better place with mom having lived in it”.
Probably best known for her role as Cleopatra in the film of the same name, starring alongside twice-husband Richard Burton, Elizabeth Taylor won two oscars in her career. She was constantly plagued by bad health and at the time of her death was being treated for heart problems.
After the death of her friend and fellow film star Rock Hudson she established her AIDS charity which has distributed over $220 million in assistance since it’s inception.
Elizabeth Taylor leaves four children, ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In many peoples eyes Elizabeth Taylor was one of the last, if not the last, great screen icons of the 20th century.
